What is a 'blog'?

According to Google dictionary, a 'blog' is defined as:

"A personal website on which an individual records opinions, links to other sites, etc. on a regular basis."

It is a web 2.0 tool. The entries are termed as 'posts'. The posts are published in a reverse chronological order, i.e. the most recent posts are shown first. You can modify the look and layout of the website as per your choice and purpose. You can add many 'widgets' to enrich the page. There is no technological background required to blog effectively. You can also monitor the rights to view and comment on a blog. There are many websites that let you blog: www.blogspot.com, www.wikispaces.com, www.wordpress.com, etc.
